Specsavers and Cirrus Research ensure MSNCRC can be seen and heard

The MSN Circuit Rally Championship (MNCRC) in a/w MSVR Racing, featuring the Michelin Cup and the Protyre Challenge, is delighted to announce a landmark sponsorship with Specsavers and Cirrus Research. 

The landmark deal, which comes ahead of the fifth season of the MNCRC, sees the introduction of the first-ever Championship Audiology Partner and reinforces the Championships commitment to the health and safety of all competitors, spectators and officials. 

The landmark deal will see Specsavers partner with Cirrus Research to help provide noise testing equipment for the Championship, and support competitors and spectators with the provision of free hearing and vision tests at all MNCRC rounds. 

Darren Spann, Championship co-ordinator says:

It is truly ground-breaking for a championship to be in a position to tie up with these companies and being able to help our competitors, officials, volunteers and spectators alike. 

Although better known for its optical services, Specsavers is the largest retail dispenser of both optician services and digital hearing aids in the UK,

With noise testing at all eight rounds undertaken by the Championship’s environmental  scrutineers, Cirrus Research will help aid the Championship’s environmental scrutineers. A world leader in noise measurement instruments, they are committed to helping people protect their hearing and reinforces the Championship’s safety credentials.

While the sponsorship marks Specsavers first-ever foray in motorsport, Cirrus Research have a long-standing relationship with motorsport and currently sponsor Championship competitor, Ashleigh Morris. 

The landmark deal kick-starts an exciting period ahead of the fifth season of the UK’s premier circuit rallying championship. 

With entries open on August 23rd, the championship kicks off in November with the Neil Howard Stages in a/w Graham Coffey Solicitors at Oulton Park, before heading to Cadwell Park and Knockhill Racing Circuit before Christmas 2019. 

Resuming in January 2020, the championship heads to Brands Hatch, before returning to Cadwell Park in early February. Rounds at Snetterton and Anglesey follow, before a brand new finale at Donington Park in March 2020. Full details are available on our website: www.msnrallychamp.co.uk
