MSNCRC to Introduce Fuel Hand Pumps At All Rounds

The MSN Circuit Rally Championship (MNCRC) in association with MSVR, featuring the Michelin Cup and the Protyre Challenge are proud to announce that all Championship events will be fuel pump only, but that all registered drivers will receive a free hand fuel pump courtesy of Championship partners, Vital Equipment.

The announcement, that all Championship rounds will be fuel pump only, continues to display the Championship’s commitment to safety and will ensure all registered Championship drivers will be able to comply with the new regulation. To ensure each driver receives a free syphon fuel pump, this must be selected at registration.

At the same time, the Championship has secured special discounts for all registered championship competitors on all fuel pumps from Vital Equipment, ensuring multiple can be purchased. These are listed on the website.

The move continues the Championship trailblazing role in ensuring safety in motorsport and especially at circuit events, following on from the hugely successful introduction of a designated refuelling area two seasons ago.

The Championship will continue with this designated refuelling zone, ensuring maximum safety for all competitors and spectators.

Championship Organiser, Darren Spann enthused: “We are delighted to be working with Vital Equipment in providing this hugely significant safety move. We feel that this is the next step towards ensuring maximum safety for all spectators and competitors on all our rounds. Obviously we feel the safest action is to use the dispensing service, but this is once again a positive step forward for dispensing themselves; ensuring the protection of the sport going forward”

Vital Equipment, a leading supplier of racing fuels, oils, motorsport safety equipment, will continue to provide fuel ‘on site’ following pre-order and retail fuel handling pumps at all rounds for competitors. All Championship registered competitors will receive a discount.

Vital Equipment will continue to provide a dispensing service of Carless fuel, including the popular 98 Octane and 102 Octane ranges ‘on site’, following pre-order, prior to each round. The product is prepared and refined in the UK and provides the highest levels of quality and consistency.

The news comes at an exciting time for the MNCRC, ahead of registrations opening up at 8pm on Friday, planning for the 2019-20 MSN Circuit Rally Championship, and follows following on from a brand new calendar announcement and top prize of a fully funded test drive in an R5 Proton Iriz.

The Championship kicks off in November with the Neil Howard Stages at Oulton Park, before heading to Cadwell Park and Knockhill Circuit before Christmas 2019. Resuming in January 2020, the Championship heads to Brands Hatch, before returning to Cadwell Park in early February. Rounds at Snetterton and Anglesey follow, before a brand new finale at Donington Park in March 2020. Full dates are available on our website.
