08 Jul Dates for Your Diary – 2020/21 Season
The countdown to the 2020-21 MSN Circuit Rally Championship (MSNCRC) in a/w MSVR, featuring the Michelin Cup and the Protyre Challenge, can officially begin with the announcement that registrations will open to competitors on August 14th.
Now in its sixth season, the MSNCRC will once again will offer crews a challenging, action-packed campaign visiting the UK’s best circuits, universally popular with competitors and spectators alike.
Despite the disruption to the motorsport season, due to COVID-19, the MSNCRC is busy planning the 2020-21 season with an expected start in November 2020.
Although cautious, the Championship has been enthused by the news that MotorSport Vision (MSV) has announced that visitors will be able to attend race meetings at its circuits from Saturday 11th July. Together with the circuits the Championship will implement provisions in place for a range of hygiene and social distancing measures depending on government guidelines at the time.
Having recently announced the continuation of one of the biggest prize packages in UK rallying, and a brand-new calendar which incorporates two visits to Donington, there has never been a better time to get involved with the MSNCRC.
The Championship will be officially launched on October 8th with its annual press day at Oulton Park, as well as the Proton Iriz R5 test drive for last season’s winner Barry Morris, before kicking off in November with the Neil Howard Stages in a/w Graham Coffey Solicitors at Oulton Park.
The Championship then heads to Cadwell Park and Donington Park before Christmas 2020.
Resuming in January 2021, the championship heads to Brands Hatch, before returning to Cadwell Park in early February. Rounds at Snetterton and Anglesey follow, before a second visit to Donington Park in March 2021.
