22 Jul Prepping For Success
The MSN Circuit Rally Championship (MSNCRC) in association with MSVR featuring the Michelin Cup and the Protyre Challenge is delighted to announce a brand-new partnership with CSG Motorsport.
In a brand-new move for the 2020-21 season, the partnership will see CSG Motorsport provide competitors with full geometry and suspension set-up sessions throughout the season. They will bring their vast experience of motorsport to the MSNCRC.
All competitors that don’t use a preparation company are eligible, with one lucky competitor being drawn out of a hat before each round. The aim is to help the clubman driver and, enhance their rallying experience. The driver drawn will then be able to redeem a credit card style award in exchange for the set-up which will be done on event.
One extra prize to be handed to a driver, chosen by CSG Motorsport owner Rob Hughes, and awarded to the driver who he feels will benefit from the help.
Based in Staffordshire, CSG Motorsport advise, service and prepare a wide variety of motorsport vehicles and, are able to offer full workshop facilities for re-builds of all transmissions and sub-assemblies. From clubman spec all the way up to WRC, they can build and maintain rally cars using extensively developed, tested and modified techniques.
Rob Hughes, owner of CSG Motorsport is delighted with the partnership: “CSG Motorsport are looking forward to supporting the MSNCRC this year for the first time after what’s been an uncertain few month. As a team we have brought something a little different to the table., aiming this prize mostly at novice and clubman competitors that are largely self-supported”
In return the CSG Motorsport logo will appear on all official MSN Rally Championship media and all new vehicle decal packs.
Championship co-ordinator Darren Spann said: “The experience and professionalism of CSG will be a great asset for the clubman competitors to have access to and, further underlines our commitment to ensuring the championship caters for all. I really can’t wait for the new season to begin.”
The MSN Circuit Rally Championship is the UK’s Premier Circuit rallying Championship. With 8 rounds at 7 circuits across the United Kingdom, the Championship starts in November and finishes in April.
