GETTING CLOSER TO THE ACTION WITH WIRED REMOTE FOR GO-PRO

GETTING CLOSER TO THE ACTION WITH WIRED REMOTE FOR GO-PRO

The MSN Circuit Rally Championship (MNCRC) in association with MSVR, featuring the Michelin Cup and the Protyre Challenge, is delighted to announce an exciting new partnership with Wired Remote for GoPro for the 2020-21 season.

Wired Remote for GoPro will work alongside our TV Partners Torque to provide their wired control system and intercom connections, to ensure that the Championship coverage has the immersive video perspectives that have made GoPro the world’s best-selling point-of-view camera for sports. Their bespoke wired control system for the Hero 3, 4, 5 & 7 GoPro cameras provide race and rally drivers with an independent way to activate the GoPro camera and start recording at one push of a button.

Darren Spann, Championship co-ordinator, enthused; “It’s truly fantastic to be starting this fantastic partnership with Wired Remote for GoPro. Working alongside Torque, we believe that this partnership can bring our fans and competitors some exciting new footage.”

Tom Baker, Managing Director of Torque, added; “We are always looking at how we can enhance our video output and this partnership will help make our production workflow much faster. We will now be able to save time editing footage and publish the driver’s eye view from the stages during the event, allowing the fans to enjoy the view form the best seat in the house.”

Tom Barley, Wired Remote for GoPro commented; “Our goal is to remove the stress and frustration of using an onboard camera. On and off push button control from the driver’s seat!  We are really pleased and proud to be working with the MSN Circuit Rally Championship. I hope to meet you all at Donington Park”

In line with government guidelines and current Motorsport UK advice, the championship is looking forward to a December start-date and competitors able to look forward to a great 8 round Championship, running from December 2020 and April 2021.
