The MSN Circuit Rally Championship (MSNCRC) in association with MSVR, featuring the Michelin Cup and the Protyre Challenge are delighted to announce that Mintex, the world-renowned market leader in braking products has joined as a sponsor for the 2018-19 season.

Becoming the sixth new sponsor to sign up for the 2018-19 season, for over 100 years the Mintex brand has consistently demonstrated a commitment to development in order to stay ahead of the competition, a philosophy that sits well with the MSNCRC.

With a reputation for quality that goes back to the very beginning of the automotive industry, Mintex currently share their expertise and products with millions of drivers across the world. From superminis to SUVs, they are the name behind the brakes keeping families and motorsport champions safe every day.

The sponsorship continues Mintex’s association with rallying, adding to their sponsorship of the Mintex Rally in Yorkshire and their sponsorship of the British Historic Rally Championship. It marks the companies first foray into circuit rallying; a decision that is welcomed by Britain’s premier circuit rallying series.

Darren Spann, Championship co-ordinator, enthused: “I am delighted to be adding Mintex to our partners. Mintex has such an evocative name in rallying, steeped in history and hopefully together we can help them write the next chapter.”

As part of the partnerships, the Mintex logo will appear on all official MSN Rally Championship media and all new vehicle decal packs, while Mintex products will be made available to buy at selected events.

Ahead of entries opening up at the end of August, planning for the 2018-19 MSN Circuit Rally Championship season is hotting up, with an enhanced media package having already been announced, plus brand-new sponsorship in the form of Beatson’s Direct, Auden’s Insurance, Smith & Jones Engines and renewals from Graham Coffey & Co., Hockly Motorsport and Coronado Controls.

The Championship kicks off in November with the Neil Howard Stages at Oulton Park, before heading to Cadwell Park and Knockhill Circuit before Christmas 2018. Resuming in January 2019, the Championship heads to Brands Hatch, Snetterton, Donington Park and Anglesey before returning to Cadwell Park for its finale in April 2019.
