Mellors Signs Up For MSNCRC

The MSN Circuit Rally Championship (MNCRC) in association with MSVR, featuring the Michelin Cup and the Protyre Challenge are delighted to announce that MEM driver Ollie Mellors has become the first work’s driver to compete in the Championship.

British Rally Championship front-runner Ollie Mellors has registered for the 2020-21 season and intends to do as many rounds as possible.

Ollie Mellors, makes his circuit rally championship debut, although he knows all about the circuit rally championship having sponsored the Championship through Mellors Elliot Motorsport. Ollie will drive a Mellors Elliot Motorsport Proton iris R5 – the car the series champion will receive a test drive in.

Ollie Mellors said: “I’ve done the Christmas Stages at Croft but I’ve never really done anything like it before, but at the end of the day it’s seat time and we’ve not done anything rally for quite a long time”

Darren Spann, Championship co-ordinator, enthused: “It’s great! It’s absolutely superb news to have Ollie on board and shows just how much the Championship has grown in 6 years to be able to get drivers of this calibre to compete”

In line with government guidelines and current Motorsport UK advice, the championship is looking forward to a November start-date with the Neil Howard Stages at Oulton Park.

Further visits to Cadwell Park and Donington Park will follow prior to Christmas 2020, before resuming again in January 2021 with a visit to Brands Hatch. A second visit to Cadwell Park is then followed by trips to Snetterton and Anglesey before finishing in March at Donington Park.
